Welcome to the Can Confirm App and website (collectively, the “Services”) operated by ALT kodo_  (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our Services. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Can Confirm provides a mobile and web platform that enables users to:

• Verify whether products are made or produced in Canada by scanning barcodes or taking pictures.

• Access detailed product insights and additional information.

• Create and manage a personalized shopping list of verified Canadian products.

We may also provide supplementary content, including blog posts, FAQs, and support resources.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements.

4. User Accounts and Security

• Account Registration: Some features of our Services may require you to register for an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account login credentials and for any activities or actions under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CAN Confirm and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Services or other users.

12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario.
